My
teaching method is based on the fact that there is not one
method but a method for each person.
As
there cannot be one method it requires a highly skilled
instructor to improve someone's golf.
If
one looks at different professional or amateur golfers it
becomes immediately obvious that their techniques are all
apparently different.
However all golfers follow the same basic principles. These
principles have not changed for 600 years and they can never
change because the golfer has a club and must stand to the
side of the ball and therefore the golf swing has to move
basically around the golfer and the clubhead must face the
target at impact.
Consider
the following:
1.
The clubhead can travel more than 30 feet before impact.
2.
The clubhead is in contact with the ball for half of 1000th
of one second.
3.
The ball can be travelling at up to 200 mph after impact.
The
last three facts make golf the most difficult game in the
world.
The
history of golf and the environment in which it is played
in also make it the best game in the world by a long way.
